Gite in St Sauveur de Carrouges, Normandy

Peaceful gite at St Sauveur de Carrouges, Normandy

Welcome to our holiday home in the heart of the beautiful Normandie-Maine National Park.  Our spacious 3 bedroom gite sleeps 6 and has large front and rear gardens.

Just one hour from Caen and surrounded by stunning countryside, the gite is the perfect spot from which to explore Normandy, including the beaches and battlefields of WW2.

St Sauveur de Carrouges lies 2km east of Carrouges, a lovely market town with its very own château, in the heart of Normandy.  Here you will find bars, shops, a small supermarket and a tourist office.

Situated on the edge of the Foret d'Ecouves, the gite is also a perfect base for mountain biking, walking and rambling, as well as rock climbing at nearby Bagnoles.

"Time has just flown since our return from France, but I wanted to let you know what a great time we had. The cottage is beautiful and just so peaceful.  We would certainly consider staying there again and have already recommended it to friends." Mrs Anita Barry + family, August 2015
